I was a keen diver in the 1990s when I lived in Singapore, certifying for my PADI certificate in Thailand and for my PADI Advanced Diver in the east coast of Malaysia. During that time I spent a week on Sipadan Island diving one of the best dive locations in the world. In 2002 I travelled the world for 4 months with my dive gear diving in Cuba, Spain and Malta.
