Marine and Safety Tasmania (MAST) provide a great range of public cruising moorings located in some of the most popular anchorages.
The moorings are usually recognisable by the distinctive yellow buoy and markings (see photo). Vessels picking up the mooring after 5.00pm may remain on the mooring overnight until 9.00am the following day. Maximum vessel length for monohulls is usually 15 Metres and 14 Metres for multihulls.
